Cupcakes

Welcome Spring! These adorable, colorful blooms are so vivid. I just love it when frosting is bright and bold. Anyway, the cupcakes are chocolate with buttercream and they are very festive for spring!

Ok, so this is my first attempt at an ombre buttercream cake. Not so bad, right? The cake is vanilla with buttercream filling and decorated with gumpaste sweets and treats that I handmade.

Christening cake

This is a vanilla buttercream cake with chocolate pudding that I made for a friends sons christening. The cake is all piped and decorated with sugar roses.

These oversized cupcakes are chocolate with baby blue buttercream and vanilla with pure white buttercream frosting. They are sprinkled with pale colors of hundreds and thousands

Bakery



Welcome to winter wonderland!  This adorable cake was made for a first birthday.  I handmade the polar bears, penguing and snowman out of fondant.  The snowflakes and trees are handmade too out of gumpaste.  This cake was really fun to make.
 



 Oh no, Im melting! These delicious and adorable sugar cookies are decorated with royal icing and marshmellos. I made them after a friend sent me the idea.  They are just too cute!The kids loved them.




This cake is a beautifulChristening cake what has a winter theme.  The cake is funfetti with buttercream filling.  I handmade all the snowflakes and cross.  This cake is stunning in two shades of pink and trimmed in white scallops.
Yo Gabba Gabba!  I made this cake for my darling nephew Carter.  He absoulutely loves Yo Gabba Gabba and could not stop looking at the cake. The cake is vanilla with strawberry filling and buttercream. 






Dora, Dora, Dora the Explorer.  This cake is vanilla with buttercream filling.  I handmade all of the character out of fondant.  Flowers and butterflies complete this girly cake.
 



This is the beautiful Snow White cake. I had made all of the clothes out of fondant. The cake is chocolate with oreo filling and buttercream.  Everything is edible except the actual doll, which can be taken out of the cake and played with after. 







Come on baby, lucky number 7!  I love, love, love this cake.  I made this cake for a 40th birthday that had a casino theme.  The cake is chocolate with chocolate pudding and chocolate buttercream.  I handmade all of the pieces and everything on this cake is edible including the cards and poker chips.   


 OMG!  These are some delicious cake balls.  The balls are chocolate cake with white chocolate and topped with crumbled Oreo cookies.  They were an experiment that went great and my son couldnt get enough.  These are a great idea for a party favor!



 
This is the rocker chick cake!  This cake was made for my niece Charlotte's 6th Bday.  She wanted a girly rock star cake that had alot of glitz and glam.  The cake is vanilla with strawberry and buttercream filling.  I handmade and hand-painted all of the decorations.  Everything is edible except for the jewels.  Rock out sista!
 

            

Cake Pops are here! These delicious babies are just too cute for words. These pops are vanilla cake dipped in white chocolate and topped with rainbow sprinkles. The make great party favors and the kiddies love them!







This is one of my favorites.  I love the beach theme becuase I am a surfer girl at heart.  The cake was made for a summer wedding.  The cake is lemon with lemon cream filling.  The picture is not that good because I was standing in the refridgerator.  This cake was both simple and elegant and went with the theme perfectly.
These beauties were made for my friends daughters communion.  They were given out as favors.  The cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla buttercream. 


Ahoy matey!  I made this cake for a 7 year old Pirates of the Caribbean fan.  The cake is chocolate with chocolate pudding filling.  I hand-painted the map and made the treasure chest out of gumpaste.  I love this cake.  I thought that it really looked authentic to a treasure map.  I filled the treasure chest with all kinds of gems and jewels that were all edible.


OMG!  Talk about super adorable.  This cake and baby shower theme were so cute.  Its called Jungle Jill and I love it.  The cake matched the decorations perfectly.  I love the idea of this shower!  The cake was vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream.  I hand sculpted the animals.  It was really original and totally scrumptious!
   This is the Kung Fu Panda cake.  I love this cake!  The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream.  I hand-made the panda, which was really difficult.  The details were a challenge but I think it came out really cute.

 I made these two cakes for a communion.  The first cake is non-traditional, funky, pop, TV, music style.  The bottom tier and top tier are vanilla with strawberry and buttercream filling.  The middle tier is red velvet with cream cheese filling.  To compliment the wild style of this cake was the traditional communion cake.  This cake was my favorite chocolate!  Chocolate cake with chocolate pudding.  It was a simple cake but looked elegant and tasted great.

Can you say "diva birthday"!  This cake was made for a beautiful little 8 year old who is totally into makeup, nailpolish and jewelery.  The bottom tier is zebra print and the top tis cheetah.  I handmade all the details.  I used disco dust and edible dragee for the number 8.  The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream.  The cake was a hit!



This adorable cake was made for a baby shower.  It was so cute. I forgot my camera that day so I only had this pic that someone sent me. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and chocolate with vanilla pudding.  I hand crafted the basinett and the baby came out awesome but I didnt get a clear shot of it.   






I made these two beautiful cakes for the 135th anniversary of St. Rose of Lima in Freehold, NJ.  The cake is inspired by all things related to the school and its 135 years.  The shield which is the school logo, the saying which is religion, respect and responsibility, the rose and the cross of St. Frances Asisi.  The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream.  The second cake was made for Sister Kate who was celebrating her 75th diamond jubilee.  Which is her 75th anniversary of being a nun.  The cake is also vanilla with chocolate pudding and decorated with a hand carved celtic cross, shamrocks and roses.  I was extremely
honored to make these cakes.


 Life is a highway!  This cake was made for my nephews 3rd birthday.  The cake is all buttercream except for the number three track which is made out of fondant.  I sculpted the cars out of gumpaste and handpainted them.  The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding filling.  It was really cute and looked just like the real Disney Cars.



Welcome to the carnival.  I made this cake for my sons PTA carnival.  I must say that the ticket booth came out adorable.  Popcorn, lemonade, cotton candy and candy apples are for sale at this carnival.  Its hard to see in the pictures all the little details because my camera stinks.  Anyway there are three vanilla cakes each with butter cream and chocolate and vanilla pudding.  This cake was really fun to make and came out super cute.

 

I made this cake for my nephews Carters Christening. The cake is vanilla with strawberry and buttercream filling. I hand rolled all the scroll work.  This cake was elegant and tasted delicious. 


Happy Valentines Day! These yummy cookies and oh so sweet mosiac toad cake were made for my sons first valentines dance.  The cake was raffled off at the dance.  The sugar cookies are decorated by hand with royal icing.  The cake has two tiers that are red velvet with cream cheese and one tier with pink velvet and cream cheese.  Its toadally awesome!

This cake was made for a beautiful princess.  The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream.  Its hard to see in the pic but the top and bottom tier are petal shaped.  I handmade the tiara and wand.  This cake was very danty and adorable. 
















I made this cake for a one year old winter wonderland party. This was by far my favorite cake to date. The cake is vanilla with vanilla pudding and buttercream. I hand sculted all of the penguins, snowflakes and trees. I loved everything about how this cake came out and it really did look like such a cute and fun winter wonderland.




I made this cake for a 12 year old who loves the Katy Perry song firework. I tried really hard to make the cake look like fireworks. The cake is vanilla with vanilla pudding and buttercream. I handpainted the fireworkds and added gumpaste to the centers to resemble explosions.



ABC's and 123's. This cake is a was made for a baseball theme baby shower. The cake is two tiers of vanilla with vanillia pudding and two tiers of chocolate with raspberry filling. I made the blocks and sculted the teddy bear, ball, hat and bat. Really adorable.




This cake is a 40th birthday tribute to all the things my friend Michael likes. Jaws, fire, flipflops, cargo pants, Germany, The Cult, Ipod, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburg Steelers, soccer, and bicycle riding. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream. I handpainted all the disks. He loved it!

I call these cupcakes the pink-a-licious puff. They are so simple with just pink frosting and one perfect little pink flower on top. The flower is hard to see in the picture. The cupcakes are vanilla with buttercream and sprinkles. Totally adorable!


Start your engines!!!!! I made this cake for my nephews 7th birthday. He is totally into motocross and requested that I make him a track. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding. I piped the designs on with buttercream and used grownd cookie for the dirt. I love this cake!


These little cuties are scary enough to eat! The cakes are made out of red velvet with cream cheese filling. I covered them in buttercream and fondant. Spooooooky!







These cupcakes are in honor of the Day of the Dead. Its a holiday where you celebrate the dead and people paint skulls in fun colors and patterns. I handpainted all the skulls with different designs. The cupcakes are vanilla with grey buttercream and then the skulls on top. These were really fun to make!

Happy Halloween Everyone! This cake is vanilla and chocolate with chocolate pudding filling and buttercream. I hand painted the windows with spider webs, bats and lightening. The shutters are made out of gumpaste. I piped the grass and used sprinkles as the pathway. Trick or Treat!









This cake is just too cute! It is a zebra print present box with tissue paper and jewlery. The cake is chocolate with chocolate pudding and chocolate chunks for a real chocolate lover! Really adorable and almost too cute to eat!


I call this cake "All about POP TV" This cake all the latest kids shows and one not so kid show. Everyone from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez which you cant see in pic because its on the top in a big heart. The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Big Time Rush, Twilight and Glee all of the birthday girls favorites! I made little hearts, music notes and stars to add some fun to the cake. Polka dots and flowers were cut out the make the cake patterns. This is a really cute cake.

I made this cake for an old Hollywood theme birthday party. The party was for two bdays that were 40 and 60. The logo was "100 Years of Glam" The cake is vanilla with strawberry filling, chocolate with chocolate pudding and red velvet with cream cheese filling. There are edible sugar jewels and gems scattered around the cake but they are hard to see in the pic.



This cake was for a 7 year old Camp Rock fan. The cake has two tiers of chocolate with chocolate pudding and one tier of vanilla with vanilla pudding. Inspired by all things that rock.....music notes, hearts for the love of music and a guitar to rock out. Rock and roll baby!




Are you ready for some football? This cake was a special request from a bride for her groom. Obviously, he was a big Indianapolis Colts fan. The cake is chocolate with vanilla pudding, chocolate chunks and buttercream.






Welcome to Bikini Bottom! I made this Sponge Bob cake for my son Cayden's 6th birthday. Vanilla and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream was his request. I sculpted the characters out of rice cereal. Everything is edible except for Sandy's helmet. This cake was a challenge and very fun to make at the same time.













This is the glam sweet 16 cake. Zebra print and dark purple were the only requests from the birthday girl. I made a 16 out of gumpaste for the top of the cake which is hard to see in the picture. I used disco dust to add some extra glam. The cake fit perfectly with the decor of the event.




This cake was made to welcome home two Navy soldiers that were overseas at war. The cake is chocolate with chocolate pudding filling. I made the flag out of fondant and the anchor from gumpaste. On the other side of the cake was a "support our troops" ribbon that I forgot to take a picture of.



This cake was made for a twin baby Christening. It was plain and simple but very beautiful. The cake is vanilla with vanilla pudding and vanilla buttercream. I hand painted the writing and the swirls.




I call this one the polka dot party cake. Vanilla cake with choclate pudding. This cake matched a tutu that the birthday girl wore on her birthday!
Beach Bash! These little cupcakes were made for a 1st birthday beach party. Each cupcake has a really cute beach inspired decoration on top. The cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla buttercream.
Does'nt everyone just love Justin Beiber! This cake was so adorable and really fun to make. I wish that I had a pic of the little girls face when I showed it to her. It was priceless! The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and buttercream. The images are edible along with all the decorations.




This is the beach inspired cake. It was beautiful before it traveled. The cake started in NJ then went to Bklyn, then to Oyster Point, then on a golf cart and then on a sailboat for 3 hours before it was served. The pic is not so great because the sailboat was rocking. The cake itself is red velvet with cream cheese filling and buttercream.



These are the cutest little pool party cupcakes I ever made. They are decorated with beach balls, sand pails, towel and swimsuits. I also made really cute flipflops and flowers. The cake is vanilla and chocolate with buttercream frosting. All the decoartions are edible. I love them!

Peace Out Baby! These adorable tye dyed cupcakes and tye dyed cake to match were just the cutest. I made them for an 8 year old birthday party. The cupcakes are tye dyed with gumpaste peace signs on top. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and vanilla buttercream. The fondant is tye dyed too! So cute!























Ok...so this is the "Glam Rock Star Cake". I made this cake for my nieces 5th birthday party. The cake is vanilla with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I handpainted the cheetah print and the music notes. I tried to write the actual notes to happy birthday. The rest of the cake is decorated in fondant and gumpaste. Rock on rock star!


This cake is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I made the cake for two sweet sixteeners. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding and vanilla buttercream. Everything is edible including the teapot on top.


Converse Kick Butt! This cake is a converse high top with music notes on it. I made this cake for a converse shoe collector. The shoe box is the actual cake. Vanilla cake with chocolate pudding and buttercream.
Love, love, love these girly cupcakes. Each one has a cutsie design on top. Lipsticks, eyeshadow, nailpolish and more....they were adorable. The cupcakes are vanilla with buttercream and fondant frosting. So cute!

I called this cake the stained glass window. I made it for my friends 35th birthday party. It was really colorful and pretty to look at. The cake is chocolate with red raspberry filling and buttercream. The cake is covered in fondant and decorated with royal icing and dragee's.













This cake is called the 4 tour. I made this cake for a rockin' 4 year old birthday party. The cake is based on the game Guitar Hero. The characters were Johnny Napalm and Judy Nails. The cake is chocolate and vanilla with buttercream filling. There were drums, microphone stand, amps and speakers. I even made a setlist of the birthday boys favorite songs. This cake make you just want to ROCK!



The perfect little cake. This cake is vanilla with buttercream and strawberry filling. Its hard to see in the picture but the fondant is textured in a floral pattern.

Tribute to Mother Nature. This beautiful cake was made for a 12 year old who is all about "Going Green". The cake is the planet Earth, surrounded by trees and water. I loved making this cake. I tried to incorporate things that I felt were beautiful about the Earth. The cake itself is vanilla with strawberry buttercream filling.


















These cupcakes were made by special request. They are vanilla and chocolate with vanilla hot pink buttercream. The client wanted the "L" from Laverne and Shirley made out of chocolate.



1st Holy Communion. This is a vanilla cake with vanilla pudding and vanilla buttercream. It was decorated with gumpaste and fondant. It was my first attempt at draping. I think it turned out pretty good.


"The Hot Mama!" This is a cake that I made for my best friend Kerry's baby shower. The cake is vanilla with strawberry buttercream filling. This was alot of fun to make.









This cake is vanilla with strawberry/banana buttercream filling. Lipstick, nailpolish, compact and eyeshadows are all the made out of fondant and gumpaste.







Peace, love and happy birthday. I made this cake for Rory's 6th birthday. The cake is made out of vanilla with vanilla buttercream. The cake and cupcakes are all tye dyed to match the theme of the party.
Gotta love your converse! I loved making this cake for a friends Sweet 16. It was my first attempt at a shoe and I really think its not bad! The shoe is made out of gumpaste and fondant. The cake is vanilla with chocolate and buttercream filling. Gumballs topped off the cake for an added punch of color.



This is the skateboard cake. It was really awesome! I made it for my cousins communion. I know that skateboarding doesnt really go with a communion, but whatever you wish! All of the logos are made out of gumpaste and fondant. The cake was vanilla with strawberry and buttercream filling.












The Coach Bag! This was my attempt at a designer handbag. I made this cake for my sister Eileen's birthday. The cake is vanilla with buttercream and strawberry/bananna filling. I hand cut all the decorations out of fondant and gumpaste. This bag was so realistic you almost wished you could really use it as a purse.
Happy Easter! These beautful flowers are suppose to resemble a hyacinth. I made the flower with chocolate cake but thats not when I stopped. I covered each egg in melting chocolate. I piped on the petals with colored buttercream. Then I made the stems and leaves out of fondant. I bought the grass (which is also edible and taste like candy apple) from a craft store.

















Pretty in Pink! I made this cake for a one year old birthday party. The cake has two tiers that are vanilla cake with strawberry and buttercream filling. The other tier is chocolate cake with raspberry filling. I handmade all of the flowers and decorations.




















This cake was a really cute princess design with dragonflies and butterflies. I made it for a little girl named Greenlee Ann who was having a 4th birthday. The cake is vanilla with chocolate pudding. I handmade all of the decorations including the tiara with Greenlee's name on it.


















These cakes are samples that are made out of styrofoam. I made all of the makeup out of gumpaste. I handpainted the cheetah pattern. The zebra stripes are made out of fondant. This cake was adorable and the makeup is really realistic.This cake is called the "SpaCake". I hand crafted the mask and covered it with fondant. The cucumber eyes and flowers are made out of gumpaste.

Twinkle, twinkle little star! I made the stars out of fondant and put petal dust on the whole cake. Oh boy did it sparkle!


The cupcakes are also for display purposes only. These non-edible delights were made out of spakle. I tinted the spakle for beautiful pastel colors. I made all the flower decorations out of gumpaste.


Groovy Dude! This peace sign cake and tie dyed cupcakes were made for a 9 year old birthday party. It is a vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream. The decorations are made out of fondant and gumpaste.





This is the most girly princess cake that I have made to date. It came out so cute, almost to cute to eat. It was two tiers of vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry filling. All of the flowers and decorations were made from gumpaste. The whole cake is edible including the princess crown and wand. I also made the cake stand in a flower shape and hand painted the details. This cake was really fun to make!



These butterflies were so pretty. I made them out of gumpaste and handpainted them. They were very realistic. I made this cake for my friends mom's birthday. It is a chocolate buttercream cake with chocolate pudding filling. The flowers are made from gumpaste. The cake is covered in chocolate fondant and I handpainted the swirls. It truly was a beautiful cake. The cake was displayed on a handmade pedastal that I handpainted as well. This one is now my new favorite.




























This is my latest creation. I made this Tinkerbell cake for my friends daughters 4th birthday party. It was the first time I ever worked with gumpaste. The cake is made out of vanilla with vanilla frosting and fondant. I made all the flowers by hand with gumpaste. Everything on the cake is edible except for the Tinkerbell candle and the mushroom base. It was alot of fun to make.
 

Who doesnt love an All-American favorite. These cutie cupcakes were made for a Labor Day party that I went to. The cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla frosting. I used cookies and coconut for the hamburgers. The hotdogs are made from circus peanuts and caramel. A huge hit and any party!

This is the princess Aurora cake that I made for my niece Charlotte's 4th birthday. The cake is strawberry with strawberry frosting. I cut out the flowers from fondant and used edible silver balls for some added bling. I used marshmellows and lollipops to decorate, in pink of course. The princess Aurora is not edible but is easily removed and can instantly be played with.

These delicious cupcakes were made for my mom's birthday. The cake is strawberry with strawberry frosting and gumpaste flowers that I made by hand.


VROOOOOM! This is the Grave Digger cake that I made for my son Cayden's 5th birthday. The cake is chocolate with chocolate frosting and fondant. I built a stand so the truck would sit high and you would see the wheels. I airbrushed the color and piped all the artwork. The wheels are made from chocolate donuts and gumballs. Chocolate chips are used as dirt.
My first Barbie cake! This one was made for Madeline's 4th birthday. Vanilla cake, vanilla frosting and fondant were used. I cut flowers from fondant and used pink piping gel to make polka dots. Edible silver beads were added for some extra bling. Royal icing was used on the edging. The Barbie doll is not edible but is easily taken out and played with.
I made these delicious treats for Christmas. Sugar cookies cut out and decorated for the holidays. The chocolate covered pretzels were my favorite. Topped in sprinkels, chocolate chips and cookies. Yum, yum, yum!






The creepy crawler! This spider cake was made for Lucas's birthday. It was perfect for his creepy crawler bug party. The cake is made from chocolate with chocolate frosting and black and brown fondant. I covered pretzels in chocolate and used gumdrops to form the legs. Black sprinkes covered the whole body. This cake was my favorite to make. It is vanilla cake, vanilla frosting and fondant. I made it for my niece Michelle's 15th birthday. It was alot of fun because it had alot going on. I airbrushed the fondant in a hot pink color and then cut out all the circles in light blue, yellow and white. I made the polka dots with red royal icing.
